Currently, I am a Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Neural Systems at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK). Please have a look at the research page for more information about my current work.
Academic: Before my current RA position, I completed a BT-MT Dual in Biological Sciences and BioEngineering at IITK. My Master’s thesis focuses on the Computational Neuroscience of the Fly Olfactory System, specifically computational modeling of odor discrimination and valence assignment in the Drosophila melanogaster under the supervision of Dr. Nitin Gupta.

These are projects that I have started recently and am currently working on.

Utilized Kernel Methods to crack a non-linear Multi-Level PUF by training a simple linear classfiers (LinearSVC, Logistic Regression) on transformed features
MENTOR : DR. SHAKTI N MENON, THE INSTITUTE OF MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES
Developed a simple simulation to study random walks on diluted Nd-lattice structures, varying agent count and step size to examine emergent behaviours.
GOOGLE DEVELOPER STUDENT CLUB, IIT KANPUR
Implemented various ML algorithms and methods ranging from linear regression to query strategies in active learning.

These are projects that I have stepped away from.
Developed a Pretrained Generative model focusing on self-attention, positional-encoding using transformer architecture.
Implemented a Reinforcement Learning model to play the Snake game using Q-learning and pyGame.
Developed a C++ implementation of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm, that includes 128 bit key generation, encryption, and decryption processes.
